Flight Path Forum Inc. (FPF) is a not-for-profit community organisation run by volunteers.

Our activities are supported by donations from members, community groups and individuals.

FPF works proactively with the following stakeholders to address issues on behalf of all our members and affiliated groups:

  • Aircraft Noise Ombudsman (ANO)

  • Civil Aviation and Safety Authority (CASA)

  • Federal Member for Wide Bay

  • Federal Member for Fairfax

  • Noosa Shire Council (NSC)

  • Office of Airspace Regulation (OAR)

  • Queensland Coordinator General (QCG)

  • Queensland Department of Environment and Science (DES)

  • Sunshine Coast Council (SCC)

  • Sunshine Coast Airport (SCA)

  • State Members for Noosa

  • State Members for Ninderry

  • Commonwealth Department of Environment and Energy (DoEE)

  • Commercial Airlines

  • Aerospace and Aviation Operators

FPF activities include:

  • Obtaining relevant documentation under Freedom of Information (Commonwealth) and Right to Information (QLD) to support our investigation of flight path related issues.

  • Lobbying stakeholders via submissions, correspondence and face to face meetings.

  • Representing members at meetings with stakeholders including the Community and Aviation Forum at Sunshine Coast Airport (quarterly).

  • Researching assessment processes and systems to enable us to engage in fully informed discussions with stakeholders.

  • Keeping members updated on activities and progress via newsletters, email and providing an information resource via our website.

  • Working collaboratively with aligned community groups and associations both locally and Nationally.

  • Holding regular committee meetings to adopt strategies and progress our mission to understand the inadequacy of the process, identify issues for research, trace accountability and obtain a review of inadequate processes and flight path alternatives to improve outcomes for residents and communities of the Northern Sunshine Coast Region.
