Residents affected by aircraft noise can lodge a complaint in several ways. You can lodge a non-specific or a specific complaint about a particular aircraft noise event or flight.


Lodge your complaint to:



AIRSERVICES AUSTRALIA

  • By Phone: 1800 802 584 (free call). The phone service is staffed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, from 9 am to 5 pm Sydney time.

  • Via WebTrack. WebTrack enables you to select your location, identify specific or likely flights that created the noise event you want to complain about and track both current and historic flight activity into and out of Sunshine Coast Airport.

  • Using their online form

AIRCRAFT NOISE OMBUDSMAN (ANO)

Lodge a complaint with the ANO after you lodged your complaint with Airservices Australia and given them an opportunity to respond.

or copy us into your noise complaint correspondence.

This is a no-reply email address, however for transparency purposes it will be useful for future lobbying activities to have a record of all noise complaints lodged by affected residents and responses received.



FLIGHT RADAR 24

Flightradar24 is a free app which can be downloaded onto your mobile phone.


It provides real time information about aircraft in flight and enables you to locate an aircraft on a map (over your suburb for example) and view details such as the type of aircraft (passenger jet, helicopter or other), the current altitude of the aircraft and the name of the airline or owner operator.

The map will also show the flight path route, so you can check whether the noise event is as a result of an arrival or departure into/out of Sunshine Coast Airport or an en route aircraft to/from Brisbane.
